  • Disclosure for a business purpose: shared with Shopify and its payment processors, and with shipping carriers to deliver your order.
  • Personal Information collected: name, billing address, shipping address, payment information, email address, and phone number.

Appointment information

  • Purpose: to schedule and manage your salon appointments, send appointment confirmations and reminders, and keep a record of the services you receive so we can serve you well on your next visit.
  • Source: collected from you when you book online or in the salon and when you complete our new client intake form.
  • Disclosure for a business purpose: shared with our online booking provider (Acuity Scheduling), our form provider (Jotform), and our business systems providers (Make, Airtable, and Heartwood Technologies, who help us organize client records on our behalf).
  • Personal Information collected: name, phone number, email address, appointment history, hair and scalp information you choose to share on the intake form, and your scheduling preferences.

Customer support information

  • Purpose: to provide customer support.
  • Source: collected from you.
  • Disclosure for a business purpose: shared with the providers above only as needed to resolve your request.
  • Personal Information collected: the details of your question or request and your contact information.

Minors

The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not intentionally collect Personal Information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with Personal Information, contact us at the address above to request deletion.

Sharing Personal Information

We share your Personal Information with service providers to help us provide our services and fulfill our contracts with you, as described above. For example:

SMS / Text Messaging

If you opt in to text messages from Luxury Loc Dealers, we collect your name and mobile number solely to send you appointment scheduling reminders, appointment and intake form reminders, and occasional offers for salon services and hair care products. Message frequency varies, typically 1 to 4 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile number and text messaging opt-in consent will not be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help.

Using Personal Information

We use your Personal Information to provide our services to you, which includes offering products for sale, processing payments, shipping and fulfilling your order, scheduling and delivering salon services, and keeping you up to date on new products, services, and offers you have asked to hear about.

Retention

When you place an order or book an appointment, we retain your Personal Information for our records unless and until you ask us to erase it. To request erasure, contact us using the details above.

Automated decision-making

We do not engage in fully automated decision-making that has a legal or otherwise significant effect using customer data. Our processor Shopify uses limited automated decision-making to prevent fraud that does not have a legal or otherwise significant effect on you, such as temporarily blocking IP addresses or cards associated with repeated failed transactions.
